Terms & Policy

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENTS

Booking will be Scheduled and confirmed only when the non-refundable deposit payment of $20 and the booking form is received. Once payment is received, a receipt/invoice will be sent to the client detailing the deposit paid and the remaining balance. By sending a payment you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set below. The deposit must be paid 5 day's prior to the event.

 

 

The client agrees to pay for any accidents or damages caused by client, guests, or pets to artist’s equipment or supplies. The artist will use reasonable care but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property. The artist will not be liable for non-attendance due to incorrect booking details being provided. Client will be responsible for any parking fees or provide parking at venue.

 

 ​If the event is held 15 miles from the zip code 97206 a small travel fee will be added to your total.

 

 

The artist must be notified of cancellations, by phone or email, as soon as possible. No later than 84 hours before the event. In the rare instance the artist has to cancel, the artist will contact the client at the earliest possibility. The client will be offered a rescheduled date or full refund of the deposit.  

 

 

The artist will arrive approximately 15-20mins prior to agreed time. The Artist present will not supervise children. The behavior and safety of the children is the responsibility of the client/parent/carer/host. Please direct children to the artist if there is space and refrain children if there is a crowd.

 

 

The artist will stop work at the scheduled time.  The client will be expected to pay the full booking fee even if the client uses the artist for less time than booked for. If the end of painting time goes over the booking time, the client will be responsible to pay an overlap fee which is $10 per 15 mins extra worked.  The artist will however, allow 15 minutes of grace.

 

 

 

Hosts left in charge of any children without their parent/carer, are responsible for obtaining permission from the parent for that child to participate. Anyone that has the following cannot get their face painted: Anyone who appears to be suffering from Chicken Pox, Measles, Rubella, Impetigo, Scabies, Cold Sores, Conjunctivitis or who suffer from Eczema or have open cuts and sores. Anyone that appears to have any symptoms of Covid-19 or has tested positive within 10 days. A child who is generally unwell. Children who are reluctant, too wriggly or asleep! Anyone who has sensitive skin or allergies. However a skin patch test can be carried out on the inside of the arm on parent/carer’s request and left for approximately 30 minutes. If there is no reaction, they can be painted on their face. Strictly Children less than three years of age cannot be painted. children over the age of one but under the age of three can get their arm painted.

 

 

 

  • Will clean the work station/area you provide back to the original manner you provided it.

  • Will adhere to industry health and safety practices, including one sponge per face to minimize cross infection.

  • Brushes will be washed in antibacterial treated water.

  • water will be changed frequently during the event.

  • All equipment is washed thoroughly after an event with antibacterial soap.

  • Only US compliant, SFX and cosmetic grade products will be used.

  • Artist is insured via beauty & bodywork insurance.

 

 

 

If photos are taken by the artist, they will be obtained with expressed permission from participants and/or guardians. All images taken will be used solely for the purpose of promoting the business. ​​​

ARTIST RESPONSIBILITY

PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL 

The Client acknowledges that face painting products are applied to the skin and that, although only professional-quality, cosmetic-grade products are used, skin irritation or allergic reactions may occur in rare cases. The Client or guardian is responsible for informing the Artist of any known allergies, skin sensitivities, medical conditions, or other relevant concerns before services are provided.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Artist shall not be liable for any allergic reaction, skin irritation, injury, loss, or damage arising from the Client's failure to disclose relevant information, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or failure to supervise participating children. In any event, the Artist's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services provided.

The Artist reserves the right to refuse service to any individual for health, safety, hygiene, or behavioral reasons.

By booking my face painting services, the client agrees to abide by all terms, conditions, and safety policies. I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if these terms or policies are not followed, or if I believe providing services would compromise the safety, wellbeing, or comfort of any participant.
