The business owner and artist

A little about the owner

Hello! My name is Evelyn and I am a Latina artist based in Oregon!

When I'm not out and about crafting or face painting, I usually spend my days making new memories with my Fiancé or spending time with my sister. I work as a private nanny for a wonderful family whom I consider part of my own. Their children have brought so much joy to my life, and they teach me something new every single day.

Just a Duck Studio is more than a small business—it's an outlet for my creativity and a bright spot in my journey living with PCOS and Fibromyalgia. Being able to work in gentle, creative roles such as nannying, crocheting, and face painting has helped me manage my symptoms and continue doing what I love.

In addition to my physical health challenges, I am also AuDHD. I see my neurodivergence as a strength rather than a weakness because so much of my creativity comes from the unique way my brain works. It allows me to see possibilities, ideas, and inspiration in places others might overlook.

If you live with physical or mental health challenges, I hope my story reminds you that your goals are still worth pursuing. Progress may look different for each of us, but meaningful things are possible when we continue moving forward.

I also wouldn't be here today without the support of my wonderful Fiancé, Adrian. We are currently planning our wedding for this year, which we are both very excited to Celebrate! Once the plans for our wedding are met, my next goal is to attend tattoo school!

Every purchase of my products or services helps support my small business and brings Adrian and I one step closer to achieving our goals. Thank you for being part of this journey and for supporting a small artist-owned business.

With lots of love,

Evelyn B. ♡
